Jakarta Taxation and Local Retribution Agency (BPRD) will continue to optimize Locally-Generated Revenue (PAD) from tax sector. One of them is to collect tax from 4.7 million vehicles, which are not re-registered yet (BDU).
Jakarta BPRD Acting (Plt) Head, Faisal Syafruddin mentioned, 780 personnel are deployed to collect tax and ensure taxpayers (WP) to fulfill their obligation. They are facilitated by Mobile BPRD application to make it easier for them to check, list, and collect tax door-to-door.
BPRD Managed to Serve 140 Taxpayers During Car Free Day"Currently there are 4 million two-wheeled vehicles and 700 thousand four-wheeled vehicles that are not re-registered yet. Total bill reaches Rp 2 trillion," he conveyed, Monday (12/17).
He explained, total motor vehicle tax (PKB) revenue from January to December 14 is collected at Rp 8.03 trillion. While vehicle-ownership transfer fee (BBN-KB) is collected at Rp 5.12 trillion.
"Especially on Saturday December 15, 2018 which is the last day of free administration fee policy implementation, we managed to collect PKB and BBN-KB with total of Rp 22.79 billion until 5.51 PM," he stated.
